Great Barrier Reef Scuba Diving Training Course
Pro Dive is Cairns' premier dive school and has been in operation since 1983. We are recognized internationally as a leader in all aspects of scuba diving education.
We are a PADI 5 Star Dive and Instructor Development Centre which guarantees you the highest standards in diver training at all levels from beginner to instructor.
With in excess of 100,000 divers trained no one has more experience than we do when it comes to teaching diving.
Our dive course options cater for everyone from beginner through to professional levels. Our modern, purpose built training centre provides the best diver training facilities available with 3 air conditioned classrooms and a large 4 metre deep heated training pool.
Our 3 premium custom built multi-million dollar liveaboard dive vessels provide the ideal way to do a liveaboard and dive on some of the most spectacular dive locations on the outer Great Barrier Reef.

These exclusive features combined with our outstanding product quality, excellent safety standards, professional service and 'all inclusive' pricing policy make Pro Dive Cairns the only choice when it comes to dive training.
All our dive course 'open water' (ocean) training dives are conducted on the outer Great Barrier Reef, where the diving is at it's best. The water temperature ranges from 22-29°Celsius and the visibility is usually between 10 and 30 metres. There really is no better or more spectacular place to do your dive course!
Open Water Learn to Dive Courses in English commence every day except Sunday all year round. These courses are also taught in German and Japanese. The dive course manuals are available in English, German and Japanese as well as a range of other European and Asian languages.

If you're looking to combine diving on the Great Barrier Reef with continuing your dive education we can take you as far as you want to go. We conduct PADI Advanced Open Water courses 6 times each week, Rescue Diver courses commence every Sunday, and Dive Master courses commence every Friday.
Instructor Development Courses are conducted 8 times per year and are taught by our staff Course Director (Instructor Trainer). A large variety of Specialty courses are also available on request.
Please note that a Dive Medical may be required for some of our dive trips and dive courses.
If your interested in a career in the dive industry we can assist with Career Development packages customised to your needs.
