PRODIVE WERE THE ULTIMATE IN PROFESSIONALISM…
THE WEATHER WAS PRETTY AWFULL DURING MY TRIP WHICH ENDED ON 4th FEB AND THE CREW AND SKIPPER HAD SOME TRYING SITUATIONS TO DEAL WITH….DEAL WITH IT THEY DID… GREAT TEAM, TEAM WORK ORIENTATIONS etc…. COOK AND FOOD (THANKS JO )

“Best dive company in Cairns” Trip Advisor

I have just got back from the best diving experience of my life.

The diving was superb with perfect weather to match.

It was my first time diving without a guide and at first I found the idea of that somewhat daunting. The instructor’s dive site briefing was remarkable and left me feeling completely reassured as if I’d already dived the same spot and knew exactly what to expect.

Straight away we swam right up to a happy green turtle munching away on some coral. Following that, a whitetip shark and beautiful colours everywhere.

Over the two nights and three days on board we were fed like kings. It was seriously like a hotel on water with us only ever having to dive, eat and sleep – what a life!

I’ve dived in a few locations around the world but Pro Dive Cairns have definately been number one for safety and organisation.

I would 100% recommend Pro Dive if you’re planning a trip out to the reef. They are friendly, professional and take you to the best spots.

We met a group of friend up in Cairns-2 separate taxi drivers told us we wouldn’t be going out on the reef as the weather was too bad and they were expecting a cyclone-great! My husband was up pacing at 4am but true to their word Pro Dive picked us up and laughed off any cyclone worries. The ride out was a bit choppy but nothing we couldn’t handle. Once we got out to the reef the waves calmed and we had a smashing 3 day 2 night trip! Couldn’t fault the staff-very friendly, professional and encouraging!
This is our second time on this boat-it is outstanding value esp as you get a 10% discount on a return trip!
The reefs we visited were not the most colourful but we saw everything we wanted to see and had our expectations blown by spotting a 3m wide cow tailed ray-air consumption was through the roof!

We loved our three days with Pro Dive Cairns!!! Being new divers, we felt that all crew members were very helpful and offering advice. The night dives were amazing (both that I went on were guided as my dive buddy was sick for most of the trip, very important listen to the crew, when they tell you only the pills work for sea sickness, they know what they are talking about!!!) Food and accommodations were excellent. One very odd thing about our trip to Australia, was that this was the only place where there was free wireless internet, which was quite nice to be able to email friends and family photos. Over all I would go diving with them any day, if only I was not so far away. Hopefully, we will be able to make it back soon.

Was truly the experience of a lifetime — the crew was very knowledgeable about what types of fish we’d see in each of the reefs we’d visit. Everything was super organised and went off without a hitch. Food was great and the cook provided plenty of variety for all the divers. The crew just wanted to make sure you were having fun, and I did indeed. I was bummed that we had to leave! Not sure any other trip can top this one.

Back in August during the Best Expedition in the World the team from Underwater Earth and I headed out with one of Australia’s best dive operators, Pro Dive Cairns, for a live-aboard experience.

I had visions of cramped quarters, ships tack and over-visited dive sites prior to leaving having had that experience in other parts of the world. But after three days living, sleeping, eating and diving with 20 other people I have to say it was simply ‘bloody brilliant’!

We were lucky enough to complete our Advanced Open Water Course with Prodive in July, we found the company very professional. Our dive instructor was great he made sure we understood the course and made sure all the students were comfortable with the information and training.

Scuba Pro is a great boat and is well setup for diving, we always had enough space and comfort. The meals on the boat were great and well suited to hungry divers.

The diving was fantastic and we saw an amazing array of fish and corals. The dive sites were easy to dive. Our favourite was Tennis Courts at the end of the trip is like diving in an aquarium.

Thanks Prodive you guys are great and we cant wait to get out on the Great Barrier Reef again – Richard and Julie
